End step The end step - sometimes referred to as the end of turn step - is when any abilities triggered at the beginning of your end step or at end of turn come into effect, as well as stopping any effects that finish until the end of your turn
I find the history of it interesting and I cant imagine many changes have happened due to the effect they have on the database
